Clean stuff: Rotarians in action!

"Rotary in Action" was the motto for four Rotary Clubs from Rüsselsheim, Groß-Gerau and Hochheim, who met on May 21, 2022 for a garbage collection campaign in Rüsselsheim's Ostpark to make the world a little cleaner and more beautiful together. Divided into two groups, they roamed the forest for almost two hours - equipped with grabbers and bags - and collected everything that didn't belong there. Unfortunately, the Rotarians found what they were looking for quickly and often in bags, which of course underlined the necessity of the campaign.

Everyone had earned the second part of the meeting: in glorious weather and with a glass of Äppelwoi, the active afternoon was followed by a leisurely round in the "Wald Bembelsche", where the Rotarians deliberately did not stay among themselves, but also invited Ukrainian families to spend a day outdoors. The children from Ukraine in particular had a lot of fun - in the nearby climbing park, where they could forget their worries for at least a few hours.
