BERLIN TRIP FROM 16 TO 19 OCTOBER 2019
Three great days in the German capital: The participants of the club trip stayed at the "Arcotel John F Berlin" on Werderscher Markt, very close to the Gendarmenmarkt and thus in the heart of Berlin. Six friends from RC Coevorden in Holland were also there. On Thursday and Friday, visits to four different companies owned by our friend Bernd Wegener in Henningsdorf were on the agenda. In the evening, everyone was able to experience the very special magic of "Berlin leuchtet!" - a cultural firework display of light shows, dance, music and performing arts. On Friday afternoon, our Rotary friends visited the special exhibition "Pergamon": masterpieces of the ancient metropolis, presented as part of a fascinating 360° panorama by Yadegar Asisi. On Friday evening, the evening ended in the "Tipi" at the Chancellery: Tim Fischer celebrated his 30th stage anniversary.
